Izmir delegation of 6 people went to Ankara to complete the projects that will accelerate the city as soon as possible. As a result of negotiations lasting 6 hours, Kemalpaşa Logistics Center and Dikili Agriculture-Based Specialized Greenhouse Organized Industrial Zone reached the final stage. The delegation stated that the projects that will be completed soon will add value not only to İzmir, but also to the Aegean Region and Turkey.

REQUESTS FROM MEMBERS HAVE BEEN RELEASED

İzmir Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger, Justice and Development Party İzmir Deputy Mahmut Atilla Kaya, İzmir Chamber of Commerce (İZTO) Chairman Mahmut Özgener, İZTO Vice Chairman of the Board Cemal Elmasoğlu, İZTO Board of Directors Treasurer Ali Osman Öğmen and İZTO Board Member Şahin The delegation consisting of Çakan held 2 important meetings in Ankara in order to convey the developments regarding Kemalpaşa Logistics Center and Agricultural Organized Industrial Zones and to convey the requests from İZTO members.

KEMALPAŞA LOGISTICS CENTER PRESENTED

The first stop of the 6-person delegation was the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. TR Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Advisor Fikret Şentürk and General Manager of Infrastructure Investments Dr. During the meeting with Yalçın Eyigün, İZTO Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Cemal Elmasoğlu made a presentation about Kemalpaşa Logistics Center.

SUPPORT FROM PRIME MINISTER YILDIRIM

The second important meeting in Ankara was held with the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the 28th Term Turkish Grand National Assembly Binali Yıldırım. The Izmir delegation conveyed their demands regarding the ongoing projects in the city to Prime Minister Yıldırım. Yıldırım stated that all necessary support will be given for projects that will contribute to the development of İzmir.

GOVERNOR KÖŞGER: “IT WILL ADD VALUE TO TURKEY”

Expressing that his Ankara visit was very productive, Governor Köşger said, “Our projects will add value not only to İzmir, but also to the Aegean Region and Turkey. Kemalpaşa Logistics Center will be the most comprehensive logistics center ever built with its container and storage areas and truck parks. I wish good luck to our city," he said.

Justice and Development Party İzmir Deputy Kaya said, “Our esteemed Prime Minister and Minister carefully listened to all our demands. Many thanks to them for their usual support. Kemalpaşa Logistics Center will contribute greatly to the development of commercial life in İzmir. I am of the opinion that all our visits will lead to important developments for İzmir.”

Expressing that the visits were very productive, İZTO Chairman of the Board Mahmut Özgener said, “We would like to thank our Prime Minister and Minister for their open communication, solution-oriented and constructive approach. We had the opportunity to convey the problems experienced in the sectors and the demands of our members with all the details. We have come very close to the final result by making important progress especially in the works related to Kemalpaşa Logistics Center.”
