85% of the Science Samsun project carried out by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality has been completed. The project, which will bring a new living space to the city, is planned to be completed by TEKONOFEST.
Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, which is preparing to implement many projects before TEKNOFEST to be held between August 30 and September 4, is completing technology and science centers that will open new horizons for young people. One of these projects, Bilim Samsun, is 85 percent complete. The project, which includes walking tracks, playgrounds, buffets, cafes and activity areas, was specially designed for young people who are interested in science, technology and innovation. The center, which was built on a total area of 24 thousand square meters, will be completed and put into service in a short time.
Young people are very excited about the completion of the project. University student Gamze Emir said, “There is a need for such areas so that we young people can produce something. Such centers where we can conduct experiments, research and work are very valuable. I would like to thank those who thought of the youth and contributed to these projects that will carry us to the future.”
University student Hande Cevher Küçük said, “It is a very well thought out project. As such places increase, we become more interested in science. We are excitedly waiting for it to be completed and put into service.”
Every detail was designed separately in the Metropolitan Municipality, Bilim Samsun. The center, which will have different horizons for children and young people, will include workshops in mathematics, astronomy, space and aviation, technology, production, experiment, agriculture, design and nature. Apart from this, there will be administrator and teacher rooms and exhibition areas in the center.
