CHP's Deniz: 'Additional Increase in Purchase Prices of Fresh Tea and Support Fees'

CHP Rize Provincial Chairman, Saltuk Deniz, asked for a raise in tea base prices and support premiums.

In his written statement, CHP Rize Provincial Chairman Saltuk Deniz said, “The purchase price of 2022 Fresh Tea was announced on 14 May 2022. And tea purchase prices were increased by 73,12 percent. Support increased from 13 krş to 30 krş. In total, 75% increase was made in the purchase prices of Fresh Tea (including support). However, including June, Annual Inflation increased by 78 percent in Consumer Prices and by 138 percent according to the Producer Prices Index. Age Tea purchase prices were defeated against high inflation. The tea producer became impoverished in the first exile. This impoverishment will increase even more in the second exile and the third exile.” said.
