The 5th Islamic Solidarity Games hosted by Konya, President of Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation and Minister of Sports of Saudi Arabia Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Faisal al-Saud, Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Governor of Konya Vahdettin Özkan, Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality It was completed with an enthusiastic closing ceremony attended by Uğur İbrahim Altay.

To the closing ceremony held at Selcuk University 15 July Stadium; President of Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) and Minister of Sports of Saudi Arabia Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Faisal al-Saud, Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Governor of Konya Vahdettin Özkan, Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Uğur İbrahim Altay and country representatives attended.

The closing ceremony, which started with the singing of the National Anthem, continued with the parade of the athletes with the flags of the participating countries. The light and fireworks displays at the ceremony also presented a visual feast to the participants.

In his speech at the ceremony, Minister of Youth and Sports Kasapoğlu stated that they organized a great organization with thousands of athletes from 54 countries and said, "The games held for the fifth time will be a tool to strengthen the brotherhood of countries as an occasion to strengthen our unity and solidarity by getting stronger with the same enthusiasm and enthusiasm. as it will continue. We were very happy to host thousands of our brothers in Turkey in this climate of tolerance of Mevlana. There has never been a loser in this fight. After the competitions full of struggle, the winner was brotherhood, unity and togetherness. All of our guests are returning to their countries from this beautiful city, Turkey, with new friendships and unforgettable memories.
