Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin examined the cleaning works initiated after the waste leakage between the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep Highway (TAG) Gaziantep west and north toll booths.
The cleaning works of the waste leakage, which occurred at around 21.00 last night and caused the closure of the TAG Highway, continue uninterruptedly with the participation of the teams of the Metropolitan Municipality Department of Science and Fire Department.
President Fatma Şahin went to the scene to get technical information about the latest situation and process in the works. Fatma Şahin, who made investigations, instructed the team to complete the works as soon as possible and restore the area.
14 VEHICLES SENT TO THE METROPOLITAN REGION
In order to support the teams working in the region, especially the General Directorate of Highways and AFAD teams, the Metropolitan Municipality participated in the cleaning and search and rescue activities of 5 loaders, 3 graders, 5 water trucks and 1 ladder vehicle. About 30 personnel are involved in the cleaning works that have been going on since the night.
