In the Erciyes International Road and Mountain Bike competitions, the Grand Prix Kayseri and Grand Prix Erciyes stages were held. The two-day races witnessed the fierce struggle of cyclists.

Kayseri Erciyes, Turkey continues to host the international road bike race, in which professional athletes from all over the world participate.

Under the leadership of the International Cyclists Union -UCI and the Turkish Cycling Federation, Erciyes High Altitude and Sports Tourism Association and Erciyes A.Ş and Spor A.Ş. under the auspices of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. GP Erciyes and GP Kayseri stages were completed in the races that took place with their support.

The first of 7 international bicycle races, including 4 road bikes and 11 mountain bikes, started with the Grand Prix Erciyes stage on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Cyclists started in front of the Kayseri Science Center on the 141-kilometer GP Erciyes tour, passed Bünyan and Sarıoğlan, and pedaled to the finish point in front of the Kayseri Science Center. In this track, Jeroen Meijers from Malaysia's Terengganu Polygon Cycling Team came first, Mykhaylo Kononenko from Sakarya BB Sports Club came second, and Oleksandr Prevar from Spor Toto Continental Cycling Team came third. Bekhzodbek Rakhimbaev from the Tashkent City Professional team of Uzbekistan received the youngest athlete award.

In the 131 km long GP Kayseri stage, the athletes started from Cumhuriyet Square and passed through İncesu and Hacılar districts, and pedaled at the end point at Erciyes Ski Center Hacılar Kapı. In this stage where cyclists competed fiercely, Anatolii Budiak from the Malaysian Cycling Team Terengganu Polygon Cycling Team came first, Metkel Eyop from the same team came second, while Akramjon Sunnatov from Uzbekistan's Tashkent City Professional Cycling Team came in third. Konstantin Elli from Tashkent City Professional team won the Youngest Athlete award.

The medals and cups were presented to Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. It was presented by Deputy General Manager Zafer Akşehirlioğlu.

Erciyes International Road and Mountain Cycling Races will continue until September 25.
