Required Qualifications for Firefighter Recruitment
To graduate from one of the Associate Degree Programs in Firefighting and Fire Safety, Firefighting and Civil Defense, Civil Defense and Firefighting.
Have at least a Class (B) driver's license.
To have at least 93 points from KPSS P70.
Required Qualifications for Police Officer Recruitment
To graduate from one of the associate degree programs of Local Administrations, Local Administrations (Police Police), Local Administrations.

Male and female candidates.
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
To be a Turkish citizen.

APPLICATION SPECIAL TERMS
For the vacancies of firefighters and police officers announced, to have the educational requirements as of the graduated school, to have taken the KPSS (B) group exam in 2020 related to this education and to have received the minimum KPSS score specified in the above table from the type of score opposite to the positions to be recruited,
In addition to the conditions specified in paragraph (A) of Article 657 of the Law No. 48, in order to apply to the positions of municipal police officers and firefighters, according to the special conditions in Article 13/A of the Municipal Police Regulation and Article 15/A of the Municipal Fire Brigade Regulation; Being weighed and measured on an empty stomach, undressed and barefoot, to be at least 1.67 meters tall for men and at least 1.60 meters for women, and there is no more than (+,-) 1 kilograms difference between the part of the body whose height is more than 10 meter and its weight, (Height and weight will be determined by our institution.)

Applications will be completed electronically and the information and documents requested from the candidates will be provided by the institution through the e-Government Gateway. During the measurement of height and weight, no physical documents other than the APPLICATION FORM will be delivered.
APPLICATION PLACE, DATE, METHOD AND DURATION
In order to participate in the written and practical exam;

Candidates will have their height and weight measured under the supervision of a physician before taking the practice exam. Candidates who do not meet the height and weight requirements declared during the application will be eliminated before taking the practice exam. In addition, legal action will be taken for these candidates for making false statements.
Applications that do not meet the conditions specified in the announcement and applications made by mail and e-mail will not be processed.
EVALUATION OF THE APPLICATIONS - ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE APPLICATION ACCEPTED
Candidates by checking the compatibility of their TR ID number and ÖSYM records.
After the ranking to be made according to the KPSS scores, the candidate will be called for the written and applied exam (5 for Firefighter positions, 305 for Police Officer positions) at the rate of 30 (five) times the number of vacancies to be appointed, starting from the candidate with the highest score.
Other candidates who have the same score as the last candidate to be invited to the exam will be invited to the exam.
The candidates who are eligible to take the exam, their KPSS scores and the place and time of the exams will be announced on the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality web page (ibb.gov.tr) on 19/9/2022, following the evaluation of the applications.
Candidates whose applications are accepted and called for the exams will be given an "Exam Entrance Document", which is prepared by our Agency and contains the identity information of the candidates and the place and date of the exams. Candidates who are entitled to take the exams will be able to access the exam entry documents on turkiye.gov.tr. This document will be presented at the entrance to the exams.
Candidates must be present at the exam venue at the date and time written on the exam entrance document they receive from the system. Candidates who do not qualify for the exam will not be notified.
