In this context, Kocaeli is among the leading provinces of our country in terms of manufacturing industry, as the ports in the Gulf play an important role in the increase in exports. In Kocaeli, which has 14 organized industrial zones, the chemical, automotive and iron and steel sectors stand out. There are also 35 port facilities.

REQUIRED INVESTMENTS IN LOGISTICS WILL BE TALKED

In addition, Kocaeli, the "capital of industry", which has become the center of maritime transportation with its ports, is located at a location where railways and highways meet. Considering that transportation to the Gulf of Izmit via Osmangazi Bridge, Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Northern Marmara Highway and Istanbul-Izmir Highway is fast and easy, fuel and time savings are achieved. In this context, the role of Gulf ports in the increase in exports is increasing with the integration of the city with the railway, land and sea routes. The workshop also aims to plan and discuss transportation and logistics, strategic investments in logistics, legal regulation and legislation.
