Satsuma type tangerine, which is grown only in the Aegean Region in the world; It is in demand from all countries with its intense aroma, easy peeling and long shelf life. In addition to production, packaging and storage stages of tangerines also shape the export traffic. Equipped with advanced technologies, processed products that go through the stages of drainage, washing, drying, waxing, processing and packaging increase the export value added. Carrying out these stages completely and under the best conditions also raises the export unit price of tangerines.”

Bringing technological power to mandarin's cross-border journey

Pointing out that the packaging stage plays a major role in Turkey's exports of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as the quality of the products, Ramazan Burak Telli said, “Healthy and reliable packaging of fruits and vegetables produced under healthy and appropriate conditions, and keeping them intact in cold storages will ensure the success of export activities. is increasing. Tangerine directs the export of citrus, which makes the biggest contribution to Turkey's annual export of 3,5 billion dollars of fresh vegetables and fruits, which corresponds to approximately 2,5 million tons. Satsuma will export 70% of its tangerines

Ramazan Burak Telli, who mentioned that the export unit price of processed products using advanced technologies in the fresh vegetable and fruit trade has increased, gave the following information about the 2022-2023 activities of the company: We will process it in our equipped facility and bring it to the domestic market and abroad. We will bring added value to Turkey's citrus exports by processing the worldwide known Satsuma tangerine in our facility. We will export 100% of the products we process in our facility with a production capacity of 70 tons per day. We will increase the capacity and technological power of the new facility we have established with additional investments of 10 million TL.”

500 people will be employed

Ramazan Burak Telli, who stated that Avrupa Investment Holding increased the production quality and capacity by providing financial support to the farmers, concluded his words as follows: “We aim to export 8 thousand tons of exports per year with Aronya Tarım. We started to buy tangerines as of June, without waiting for the harvest period in September. We will continue to support agriculture and all its stakeholders by employing a total of 500 people.”
