Ege University (EU) State Turkish Music Conservatory (DTMK) organized the “Berkant Çakıcı 'Percussion Workshop'” event as part of the workshops. EÜ DTMK Basic Sciences Department Inst. See. Balamir claimed the right. EU DTMK Director Prof. Dr. Besides Özge Gülbey Usta; Mehmedah Memedov from Azerbaijan, business people, academics and students attended.
Expressing his thoughts on music in his opening speech, Berkant Çakıcı said, “I make music for a living and I have an endless love for music. At this point, my advice to students is not to listen to a single type of music. When little musicians and great musicians come together, both parties have something to learn from each other. Great musicians need to lock their egos backstage when they go on stage. Because the musician's heart is sensitive, the slightest thing can push the musician away from his art as well as closer. That's why I think I've added experience to myself on stage. He sees the stage as my world and I feel quite free.”
After the speeches, Berkant Çakıcı, who performed small percussion performances, was accompanied by students with their personal instruments.
