Our Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, announced that they have deposited a total of 1 billion 289 million TL of Home Care Assistance into accounts this month for severely disabled citizens and their families in need of care.
Minister Derya Yanık reminded that they carry out support programs primarily in order to provide care for disabled people in the family environment and said, “We implement human-oriented and rights-based service models so that our disabled citizens can fully and effectively participate in social life and live independently. Among these models, home care assistance has an important place.” said.
Noting that they support the disabled people living with their families with service models such as day care service and home care assistance.
Minister Yanık said, "With the home care assistance, which was started in 2006 with the idea of supporting disabled people primarily with their families, we also support our citizens who need care and cannot work because they take care of them." used the phrases.
Reminding that a monthly payment of 2.354 TL is paid per beneficiary who takes care of his disabled relative in need of care, Minister Yanık said, “We have deposited a total of 1 billion 289 million TL of Home Care Assistance this month in order to provide economic support to the severely disabled citizens and their families in need of care. This month, 547 thousand citizens benefited from Home Care Assistance. I wish the payments will be beneficial to all our disabled citizens.” said.
