The President's Cup Juniors-Super Juniors Judo Championship, hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club, came to an end. During the three-day championship at Celal Atik Sports Hall, approximately 18 judoka players from 300 teams went on the tatami.
Competing in the Super Juniors aged 9-10 and Juniors aged 11-12, judo players competed for three days with each other. While most of the stands were full, the parents had the opportunity to follow the pleasant matches.
Ersan Odaman, President of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club, who stated that the little judokas were following the beautiful competitions, said, “We experienced the great excitement of nearly 300 little judokas. Great matches were played in our hall for three days. I would like to thank all the athletes, coaches and parents who participated in the championship.”
The host of the championship, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club, as well as Manisa BBSK, Denizli BBSK, Balıkesir BBSK, Burdur BBSK, Manisa Salihli Municipality, Manisa Yunus Emre Municipality, Istanbul Chekmat, Göztepe, Narlıdere Municipality, Karşıyaka Municipality, Menemen Municipality, Bergama Municipality, Kemalpaşa Municipality, Şavkar Sports Club, İzmir Olympic Sports Club, Ju-Te-Ka Sports Club and Konak Public Education Club.
