Giant Meeting in Muğla from the Aegean Mineral Exporters' Association

Mineral exporters from Muğla contributed $2022 million to Turkey's exports in the January-May period of 44, with an increase of 53 percent. Muğla's mineral exports were 2021 million dollars in the first five months of 37.

Emphasizing that the mining industry is the second strongest sector in Muğla's exports, the Aegean Mineral Exporters' Association President İbrahim Alimoğlu noted that 2021 of the 200 members who exported from EMİB in 125 were from Muğla.

Expressing that as the Aegean Mineral Exporters' Association, they held their first Board of Directors Meetings outside of İzmir in Muğla in the 2022-26 period, Alimoğlu stated that they held the first meeting with mineral exporters from Muğla in the member meetings.

Explaining that they took office in the Aegean Mineral Exporters' Association at the general assembly held on April 22, 2022, with the favor of its members, Alimoğlu said, “Our colleagues from Muğla, Kaymin Marble, Halilullah Kaya, Dumanlar Marble, Zeynep Duman, and Snow Mining, Emre Karaöz, were in our team representing our Muğla mineral exporters. Our companies from Muğla achieved an export of 2021 million dollars in 133 through our Aegean Mineral Exporters' Association. 87 million dollars of this export was natural stone.

We aim to export 4 billion dollars at the end of 12 years

Explaining that as the mining industry, they contributed 2021 billion dollars to Turkey's exports in 6, Alimoğlu continued his words as follows; “Our natural stone industry realized 2,2 billion dollars of the exports of our mining industry. At the end of our mandate, our goal is to develop projects with you to increase our mining exports to 12 billion dollars. In this process, the suggestions of our members will always be a priority and guide for us.”
