The second race of AVIS 2022 Turkey Climbing Championship was held in Kocaeli Kartepe district on 4-25 June 04 with the participation of 05 athletes in 2022 different categories. Organized by Kocaeli Automobile Sports Club (KOSDER) with the contributions of ICRYPEX, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and Kartepe Municipality, the race started with the start ceremony held in Kartepe Square on Saturday.
İlker Aktaş, who competed with Opel Corsa GSI on behalf of Ülkü Motorsport in Category 05, won the first place in the race, which was run on a 6-kilometer-long track on Sunday, June 3, while Sevcan Sağıroğlu, a female pilot with Fiat Palio, took the second place and Süleyman Yanar with Fiat Palio and Süleyman Yanar placed third on the podium. outputs. In Category 1, Cem Yudulmaz from Ülkü Motorsport team became the fastest player of the day with Ford Fiesta R2T, Kaan Kara who competed with Fiat Palio from Ülkü Motorsport team took the second place and Subaru Impreza and female pilot Evren Girgin came in third place. In Category 2, on behalf of Neo Motorsport, Opel Corsa OPC and Ahmet Keskin Buharkent came in first in Kartepe. Nizamettin Kaynak ranked second with Renault Sport Clio, while Murat Soycopur, who competed with Renault Clio R3 for GP Garage My Team, took third place. In Category 3, with Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, Cem Yalın from GP Garage My Team was the winner, and also recorded the best time of the day with 4:03. In this category, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX and Sinan Soylu from the same team finished the day in second place, while Kemal Şener, who also competed with Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, took third place. Ülkü Motorsport team won the Best Team award of the race.
AVIS 2022 Turkey Climbing Championship will continue with the third leg race to be held in Gemlik Şahintpe by Bursa Automobile Sports Club (BOSSEK) on 02-03 July.
