People of Eskişehir Meet at Producer Markets

Established to support producers all over Turkey, Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Producer Markets continue to sell cheap and reliable products.

Hundreds of products, from butter to dried fruit, from legumes to tarhana, of 25 producer cooperatives, especially the producers from Eskişehir, reach the citizens directly through Producer Markets.

A new one was added to the Producer Market, which opened its first branch in the Kurtuluş Mahallesi under the Courthouse Parking Lot in 2019, in 2020, behind the Haller Youth Center in the Eskibağlar Mahallesi of Tepebaşı district. Currently, Producer Markets, which continues to serve with the kiosk in Köprübaşı İletişim Sokak in addition to two branches, ensures that citizens can procure their needs for affordable and quality products 6 days a week, except for Sundays.

Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen stated that they continue to work within their means to be with the producers with Rural Development Projects and said, “We supported both the farmers and our citizens dealing with animal husbandry in our work. When appropriate, we continue to support our producers with seed and sapling grants and small cattle grant programs. Thanks to our Producer Markets, we meet the market needs of our producers in order to sell the products that are beautiful, delicious and healthy. We deliver these healthy and quality products to our Eskişehir residents without commissions. In addition, our citizens can obtain bread, milk, eggs and dairy products from our Producer Markets. I sincerely thank all Eskişehir residents who have supported our Producer Markets and therefore our producers with the great interest they have shown since the day we opened them.”
