A new development took place in the giant tender of millions of euros, where Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality will purchase 15 trams with a loan from the European Investment Bank.
Today was the deadline for the submission of tender offers, which were criticized for the presence of conditions that prevent domestic tram-producing companies from participating in the tender. However, with the correction notice published, some articles were changed and the deadline for submitting bids was postponed to 30 on 2022 June 14.00. On the other hand, it was stated that the changes made in the tender caused disappointment for domestic companies.
In the giant tender, worth millions of euros, for which Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality will purchase 15 trams, the fact that there were items excluding domestic companies from the tender came to the fore, and this situation aroused reactions.
With the loan provided by Iller Bank, the international tender for Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality to buy new trams, Turkish ve English announced on the official website of the municipality.
According to the announcement, the bids will be accepted until 30:2022 on 14 June 00. Companies that will participate in the tender will provide 1 million 200 thousand Euros as bid bond.
The tender will be carried out through an international competitive bidding method.
