Pointing out that observation events such as science festivals are an important reflection of the vision of the National Technology Move, Varank underlined that they will determine the participants by drawing lots due to high demand.

APPLICATIONS STARTED

I would like to share with you an important announcement regarding our science and technology activities. As of today, we are starting to receive applications for the sky observation event that we will organize at Erzurum Eastern Anatolia Observatory (DAG), which has the largest telescope in Europe. gozlem.tug.tubitak.gov.tr

You can easily submit your application. We invite all eye-catching space lovers, regardless of age, to our sky observation event, which will be held in Erzurum on 22-24 July.

WE SPREAD SCIENCE JOY

You may have followed the event we held at Zerzevan Castle in Diyarbakir last month. We organized an enormous observing event with the participation of everyone from seven to seventy. Now we are spreading this enthusiasm for science to our other cities. As you know, we are meeting in Van on 3-5 July, before Erzurum. We received a large application for this place.

We will determine the participants by drawing lots. We wish that we could give this experience to everyone who applied. However, you will appreciate that we have to make a choice due to the large number of requests. Observation events like science festivals are an important reflection of our national technology vision. On this occasion, I wish all these activities to be beneficial for our country, our nation and especially our youth.

Next is VAN, ERZURUM AND ANTALYA

Erzurum Sky Observation Event, which will be held between 22-24 July, is organized under the auspices of the ministries of Youth and Sports, Culture and Tourism and Industry and Technology, under the coordination of TÜBİTAK with the support of Erzurum Governorship, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality, Erzurum Atatürk University, Northeast Anatolian Development Agency (KUDAKA) and DAG. Participants will watch the sky in the tent camp, observation and event area to be set up in Konaklı Ski Facilities. During the daytime, the Eastern Anatolian Observatory (DAG), which has the largest telescope in Europe, located on the hill with an altitude of 3 can be visited.

The Ministry of Industry and Technology brings together sky enthusiasts of all ages by spreading the TÜBİTAK National Sky Observation Event, which was first initiated by TÜBİTAK Science and Technical Journal in 1998 and held in Antalya Saklıkent, to different cities of Anatolia. The program, which was held in Diyarbakır last year under the name of Zerzevan Sky Observation Event, will be held this year in Van on 3-5 July, in Erzurum on 22-24 July, and in Antalya Saklıkent on 18-21 August, following Diyarbakır. .
