86th International Bergama Kermes Festival Begins Monday

President Rushed; “I am waiting for all Izmir and its surrounding cities and districts to our #UNESCO World Heritage Bergama. I invite everyone to experience art and culture intertwined with history.”

Being Turkey's first local festival, the International Bergama Bazaar, which has been held uninterruptedly for 1937 years since 86, with the foresight of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, starts on 20-26 June with its rich content.

Breaths were held for the most magnificent and richest festival in Izmir in recent years. The final preparations for the cortege march and the opening ceremony at Cumhuriyet Square on Monday at 18.00 continue to be reviewed.

#UNESCO World Heritage Bergama; started to await its guests with concerts, theatre, talks, panels, local and foreign folk dance performances, sporting events and stands with many souvenirs.

THE FESTIVAL WILL BEGIN WITH ANGEL MOSSO CONCERT AND END WITH SERTAP ERENER CONCERT

The festival, where the events will continue for 7 days, will start on 20 June 2022. At the Kermes artists' parade; The world-famous clarinet virtuoso Hüsnü Şençiler, Sertap Erener, Melek Mosso, Kubat, Tuğba Yurt, Öykü Gürman, Ahmet Şafak and Mustafa Cihat Kılıç, trained by Bergama, will take the stage in Bergama. Famous Historian Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı will participate as a panelist, and there will be a theater performance, local and foreign folk dance ensembles in the bazaar program.
