Sinan Ogan (born September 1, 1967, Melekli, Iğdır) is a Turkish strategic researcher and politician.

Sinan Ogan was born on September 1, 1967 in Melekli town of Iğdır as a child of a family of Azeri origin. He is a graduate of Marmara University FEAS and completed his master's degree at the same university. He completed his doctoral studies at Moscow State University of International Relations (MGIMO). He speaks advanced Russian and academic English. He worked as a research assistant at Marmara University Turkic Studies Institute, as a lecturer and Deputy Dean at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. He became the TIKA Azerbaijan Representative. He was awarded the "State Order" by the President of Azerbaijan. He was the Head of the Eurasian Center for Strategic Studies (ASAM) Russia Ukraine Studies Desk. He founded and chaired TÜRKSAM. Political career

He was elected as Iğdır deputy from the Nationalist Movement Party in the 2011 Turkish general elections.
