The Presidential Decree on the Appointment of Governors, signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was published in today's issue of the Official Gazette. With the decree, the governors of 10 provinces were dismissed, the governors of 20 provinces were changed. While 9 governors who were dismissed were appointed as the Chief Civil Inspector, 1 governor was appointed as the Head of the Inspection Board, a new governor was appointed in their place.

Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı (born in 1979, Ankara) is a Turkish bureaucrat, Academician and Writer. He was appointed as the governor of Afyonkarahisar with the presidential governors decree published in the TR Official Gazette on 12 May 2022.
He was born in 1979 in Ankara. After completing his undergraduate education at Ankara University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, he completed his master's degree in Istanbul Commerce University, Department of Applied Psychology, with his study on “The Effect of Father Deprivation on Children”. She graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism in 2012 with her thesis titled “Political Message Design in the Persuasive Communication Process”. She served as the Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey. He was appointed as the governor of Afyonkarahisar with the presidential governors decree published in the TR Official Gazette on 12 May 2022.
In 2019, he was appointed as the representative of the Press Advertisement Agency General Assembly. He is still working as the Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services. She is married and mother of 3 children.
