Oktay A was taken to the Büyükçekmece Courthouse after the metrobus accident that resulted in 9 injuries in the Beylikdüzü district of Istanbul. Oktay A, who gave a statement to the public prosecutor, was released by the criminal judgeship of peace on duty, after applying judicial control measures.
In Beylikdüzü, the metrobus under the direction of Oktay A., which had no passengers yesterday, broke down while driving, and the driver got out of the vehicle to fix the malfunction. While the driver was dealing with the battery, the metrobus, which suddenly moved and advanced about 500 meters, collided with the metrobus coming from the opposite direction between the Municipality and Cumhuriyet stops.
Meanwhile, the metrobus vehicle, which could not come from behind and stop, was also involved in the accident, and 8 people were injured, 1 of whom were passengers and 9 was the driver.
