Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) held a meeting to ensure the safety of life and property of citizens and traffic order on bicycle paths.
At the meeting held under the chairmanship of Sait Inan, Secretary General of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, in the Metropolitan Municipality Assembly Meeting Hall, the commission report prepared on the use of electric scooters, ginger and family bicycles for commercial purposes other than two-pedal single bicycles on bicycle paths in Ordu recently was discussed.
As a result of the meeting, in order to ensure the safety of life and property on bicycle paths, electric bicycles (ginger), ATVs and family bicycles used for commercial and private purposes, pedal and 3-4 wheel cyclists and vehicles can be used on pedestrian roads, bicycle paths, external roads and vehicles without obtaining permission from the UKOME board. It was decided not to use it in parks.
It has been stated that if the tenants and stakeholders act against the decision, financial, criminal and legal responsibility will belong to them.
