Hopefully, we will expand this organization even more in the coming years and turn this place into the center of art. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the organization. It is a very good event for our Çankırı.”

“We introduced not only Ilgaz, but the whole Çankırı”

Speaking about the workshop, Mayor Mehmet Öztürk said, “This organization took place thanks to Hülya Sezgin, who was trained by Çankırı. Our Fine Arts High School Principal Mehtap Meydaneri also contributed. I am the idea father, but they have a great contribution and effort. We, as the municipality, do our best to make Ilgaz Yıldıztepe a center of sports and arts.

This year we organized the second of the Diplomatic Ski Competition. In the first, 35 diplomats came, in the second, we hosted 190 of our diplomats. Now 10 artists from 15 countries have come. They stayed here as guests for a week. We introduced not only Ilgaz, but also the whole Çankırı. If Ilgaz develops, Çankırı develops. The effort we put into art and sports will continue to increase," he said.
