Baby's health comes first for families. Stating that families can negatively affect their children's immune systems by giving extreme importance to hygiene with this sensitivity, Anadolu Health Center Pediatrics Specialist Dr. Kemal Akpınar, “Delayed encounters of babies with microorganisms prevent and delay the development of their immune systems or cause frequent infections. The earlier babies come into contact with beneficial microorganisms, the stronger their immunity against diseases will be.

From the moment the baby is born, parents may be constantly worried and overly sensitive in case the baby "gets germs". Anadolu Medical Center Pediatrics Specialist, who said that it is right to be hygienic for harmful microorganisms, but being excessively hygienic also affects the immune system negatively. Kemal Akpınar said, “There are microorganisms even in the mother's womb, and there are many studies that show that the baby lives with these microorganisms inside. In particular, the baby who is born with a normal birth meets the microorganisms of the outside world from the moment it passes through the birth canal of the mother. The microorganism structure in the mother's birth canal enables the baby's flora to develop positively and to fight diseases much better.

Stating that it is possible for the baby to be strong and healthy against the outside world, with the right steps taken by the parents, Dr. Kemal Akpınar made the following suggestions for the baby to have a healthier growth process:

Instead of shopping malls, prefer natural environments such as streets, gardens and parks to take your baby for a walk. One reason why babies and children are more sick today is that they don't touch the ground.

If you do not have a disease or any discharge, do not be afraid to touch babies or drive away those around you. You can kiss as long as it's not an exaggeration.

Do not be afraid of your babies coming into contact with animals. The later they come into contact with them, the more allergic reactions they have.

The best way to clean the vegetables and fruits you buy from outside is water. You can clean the food you buy by soaking it in water. If you think that the layer on it is not going away, peel the skin and eat it.

Keep detergents or wet wipes, which are supposed to make our life easier, away from your baby because of the chemicals they contain.

When your baby's pacifier is at home, if there is any coarse dirt, clean it and give the pacifier to your baby. The baby should get used to the microorganism of that environment. But if you are outside, you can wash the pacifier.

Babies' skin is more sensitive than adults. That's why your choice of shampoo and soap that you will use while washing is very important. It should not contain products containing perfume, dyestuff, detergent waste, sodium or sulfate.

Preferably be careful to use compact products.

Do not touch the soap directly to your baby. First foam it in your own hands, then wash it with that foam.

Rinse your baby especially with plenty of water.

When washing your baby's clothes, use granular soaps rather than detergents.

Prefer to dry your babies' clothes in fresh air rather than dryers.

Do not hesitate to wash your baby with tap water that you have brought to the appropriate temperature. No need for drinking water.
