Muzaffer Özdağ, who was originally from a family of Kumuk-Kipchak origin, died on February 5, 2002 in Ankara.

Muzaffer Özdağ, originally from a Kumuk-Kipchak family, was born on April 15, 1933 in the Pınarbaşı district of Kayseri. He studied at the Military Academy and the Military Academy. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law.

He also actively participated in the May 7, 1960 military coup as a staff captain. He also served on the National Unity Committee. He was exiled to Tokyo after the dissolution of the committee on 13 November 1960. Later, he joined the Republican Peasant Nation Party, founded by Alparslan Türkeş, and entered politics.

In the 13th term, he was elected as a deputy of Afyon and entered the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Muzaffer Özdağ died on February 5, 2002 in Ankara.
