Pınarhisar and Çakıllı Ring Roads, which increase the transportation standard between Kırklareli and Tekirdağ provinces, were completed and put into service. Attending the opening ceremony with a live connection, President Erdoğan stated that Pınarhisar and Çakıllı Ring Roads constitute an important part of the 71-kilometer project that connects Kırklareli to the organized industrial zones and the European Free Zone via Saray.

“The ring roads will contribute to the relief of traffic across Thrace”

Pointing out that they have completed a significant part of the roads on this route, which is one of Turkey's leading production and trade centers and also carries the burden of traffic going to Bulgaria, Erdoğan gave the following information: “We had opened the Kırklareli city pass before. Today, together with the 7,5 kilometers Pınarhisar and 3 kilometers Çakıllı ring roads, we have put into service a total of 22 kilometers of the project. The ring roads that we put into service with their underpasses, level crossings and art structures will also contribute to the relief of traffic throughout Thrace. On the roads we have opened, both our drivers carrying out transportation and our citizens living in the region will have the opportunity to travel comfortably, safely and quickly. By reducing the travel time on this road, which has 7 thousand vehicles per day, from 78 minutes to 45 minutes, 93 million liras will be saved per year from time and 35 million liras from fuel oil. In addition, the amount of carbon emissions will decrease by more than 7 thousand tons.”

Stating that the shortening of the travel time and the intensification of the interaction between the Palace and Kırklareli will contribute to the increase in the economic and cultural dynamism of the region, President Erdoğan said, "We are inaugurating a beneficial service for our country and Thrace."

“We are taking the heavy heavy vehicle traffic between Saray-Vize-Pınarhisar and Kırklareli outside the city centers”

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu emphasized that the heavy heavy vehicle traffic between Saray-Vize-Pınarhisar and Kırklareli was taken out of the city centers with the project. Karaismailoğlu said that the traffic flow on the ring roads and the existing road in the district centers was taken out of the city and made more comfortable and safe with the quality of the divided road.

Minister Karaismailoğlu concluded his speech with these words: “We completed the 1 Çanakkale Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in the world, which is one of the proud projects of Turkish engineering in just the last 1915 month, in a short period of 4 years; We put it at the service of our nation and the world. Right after that, we brought Tokat together with the airport. A week later, we opened the Malatya Ring Road, which serves the transit route of 1 provinces; We moved the transit route out of the city. Then we shortened the distance between Antalya and Kemer by 16 kilometers with the Phaselis Tunnel in Antalya. We offered a safe and comfortable journey to our citizens.”

Comfortable and safe transportation was established on the route

Thanks to the project, safety of life and property will be ensured on the route that passes through the district and village centers as a variant with the quality of a divided road instead of the existing surface-covered road.

The project, which will provide fast and comfortable transportation to the Dereköy Border Gate, will also contribute to the development of economic, cultural and social interaction between Saray and Kırklareli.
