Turkey is hosting one of the most important rallies in the world for the 9th time between 18-16 May this year. The “16. The Turkey stage of the Europa-Orient East-West Friendship and Peace Rally started with the organization held in Istanbul's Sultanahmet Square. The batteries of vehicles aged 20 and over participating in the competition were measured by Mutlu Battery Mobile Teams and the batteries with low performance were replaced with new ones. In addition, the activities organized for the contestants during the ceremony were also entertaining moments. The organization, which is described as an adventure rally rather than a speed-based race, is one of the leading automobile sports races in Europe. Old cars with a value of less than 1.100 euros participate in the rally.
Competitors will pass through 23 cities of Turkey.
This year, 10 teams, 15 vehicles and 50 competitors from 100 countries participated in the race, which makes positive contributions to the correct promotion of Turkey's touristic, natural, cultural and historical values before EU citizens and towards European Union membership. Rally; It consists of 3 stages: Europe/Balkans, Turkey and the Middle East route. Europe and the Balkans route: consists of Germany, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria. Turkey route: Edirne, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Düzce, Bolu, Karabük, Tosya - Kastamonu, Çankırı, Çorum, Ankara, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Aksaray, Nevşehir - Cappadocia, Niğde, Gaziantep, Osmaniye, Adana, Mersin – Anamur covers the Alanya-Antalya line. The Middle East route, which is the last stage of the race, consists of Israel, Palestine and Jordan, which is the destination.
