With the data until May 2022, it is stated that the number of vehicles passing through has exceeded 4 million.

Nissibi Bridge, which was built between Şanlıurfa Siverek and Adıyaman Gerger with the project of Turkish engineers and architects, in the type of 'taut curved cable suspension bridge', provided great convenience to the people of the region as well as saving time and fuel. Vehicles and pedestrians, who previously waited for hours to cross the ferries, can now cross the bridge in minutes.

About the Nissibi Bridge

Nissibi Bridge is a taut sling bridge in the Turkish provinces of Adıyaman and Şanlıurfa. The bridge, which Gülsan İnşaat started to build on January 26, 2012, was built at a cost of ₺80 million. Initially, it was announced that the opening would take place in October 2014. However, it was later announced that the bridge would enter service in the first half of 2015. It was put into service by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on May 21, 2015. With the commissioning of the bridge, a highway connection has been established between the two sides of the Atatürk Dam Lake.
