Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyerhosted the members of the executive board of the Buca Prison Getting Free Platform in its office. The platform, which was formed by more than 70 non-governmental organizations struggling to bring the land of Buca Prison to the city as a green area, asked for support from Mayor Soyer. In the delegation that visited Soyer, Livable Buca Association Manager and Resources Environmental Protection Association SözcüAttorney Mürüvet Suatoğlu Balcılar, Buca Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) President Yılmaz Yıldız, Buca Veli-Der President Savaş Candemir, İzmir Bar Association Board Member Sinan Balcılar and Republican People's Party (CHP) Buca District President and Livable Buca Association Manager Sadiye Akgül took place.

Speaking at the visit, President Soyer thanked the representatives of the platform for the sensitivity shown, “There is an area in the most crowded and crowded region of the population. What can be done? For once, let's make up our minds and not make concrete here, let's make a green area," he said.
