The Global Warming Congress Committee held its 17th event this year in Fuarİzmir against the environment and climate crisis that threatens the world and our country. At the Global Warming Congress, which has been held every year for 17 years to raise awareness against the climate crisis, the motto "Recycling for Better Livable Cities is Indispensable" was put on the table and discussed. The event, which was made with the contributions of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, was held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at İZFAŞ, within the scope of the We-Cycle Environment and Recycling Technologies Fair, which was held for the first time.

Organized by the Global Warming Convention Committee, with the contributions of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and sponsored by Toyota, the event is supported by the Economy Journalists Association (EGD), New Seeking Initiative Platform Association (YAPDER), and Renewable Energy Support Platform, as every year.

İTHİB Board Member Sultan Tepe moderated the first session called 'Media's Perspective on Recycling' held in the foyer area of ​​İZFAŞ, İzmir Journalists Association President Dilek Gappi, Economy Journalists Association (EGD) President Recep Erçin, Turkish Journalists Federation President Yılmaz Karaca EKOIQ Editorial Its director, Barış Doğru, took part as a speaker.

Environmental writer and journalist Ahmet Aydın Akansu was the moderator of the second session called 'Business World's Perspective on Recycling', which was also held in the same area. In the session in the second part, civil society leaders and business people took the floor.
