Metin Akbaş, General Manager of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), made a series of investigations in Sivas with the “On-Site Solution Team”. General Manager Akbaş, who examined the latest status of the works related to railway investments in Sivas, attended the 40th Platform Type National Freight Wagon Delivery Ceremony, which was produced locally and nationally by Turkey Rail System Vehicles Industry AŞ (TÜRASAŞ).
Examining the existing and ongoing railway works in Sivas, TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş made various contacts with the Onsite Solution Team.
General Manager Akbaş and the accompanying delegation attended the 40th Platform Type National Freight Wagon TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ Delivery Ceremony, which was produced in TÜRASAŞ Sivas Regional Directorate with completely domestic and national resources.
Hasan Pezük, General Manager of TCDD Transportation, Metin Yazar, General Manager of TÜRASAŞ, Murat Baştor, General Manager of Transportation Services Regulation of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Head of Transportation Safety Review Center of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Mükremin Kara, bureaucrats of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure attended the ceremony.
After the ceremony, General Manager Akbaş visited the 4th Regional Directorate of TCDD in Sivas and received information about the work from the Regional Manager V. Hasan Arı and the staff.
Akbaş also visited the Sivas Logistics Center, one of the centers that will make Turkey the logistics base of the region, and discussed the latest situation.
General Manager Akbaş and On-site Solution Team met at the Regional Directorate after their investigations and received a briefing on the railway works.
