Samsun Provincial Gendarmerie Command started the work carried out to provide practical traffic safety training to 1000 students studying in schools in its responsibility area.

In the trainings that started at Ilkadım Children's Traffic Education Park, children in the age group of 4-12 use battery-operated vehicles, stopping, stopping and parking methods in accordance with traffic rules, maneuvering rules to be followed, safe following distance, the importance of seat belts, the meanings of traffic signs and road signs, Information was given about the methods of behavior as drivers and pedestrians at traffic lights.

With the participation of Samsun Governor Zülkif Dağlı, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Ömer Ersever and İlkadım Mayor Necattin Demirtaş, applied traffic training was given to Kavak Emirli and Çakallı Primary School students.

Samsun Governor Dağlı told reporters after the training that the Gendarmerie provided traffic training to 40 students. Dağlı stated that the students determined within a certain period and order will receive their training, and said, “We have seen theoretical and practical training. We observed that our children started to learn the traffic rules in a short time. Education in traffic should start at this age. I appreciate the work done in this regard. Our goal is for all our students in Samsun to receive this education. It will be at a certain time. ”She used the phrases.

Samsun Governor Dağlı added that it is aimed to provide practical traffic training for 50 thousand pre-school and primary school students in the Gendarmerie region throughout Turkey.

Ilkadim Mayor Necattin Demirtaş also drew attention to the importance of trainings and said that they are happy to support the trainings.

One of the students, Miray Çelebi, stated that the trainings were fun and useful and said, “We learned about the pedestrian crossings. We learned what we should do on the roads, what we should do in which light. The trainings are so much fun.” said.

Betül Şahin, one of the students, stated that the park is very beautiful and said, “I am very excited. We learned about pedestrian crossings in education. Gendarmerie brothers told us. He must wear a belt in the vehicle and control the roads. ”she spoke.
