Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, emphasized that the Antalya-Burdur junction, Taşkapı-Yeşilbağ-Ağlasun Road, which has a total length of 19 kilometers, will be renewed with hot bituminous coating, Karaismailoğlu said that comfortable and safe transportation will be provided and 10.5 million liras will be saved annually.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Burdur Taşkapı-Ağlasun Road. Stating that they continue their transportation projects at full speed with the awareness of how important and valuable friendship and reaching friends is, Karaismailoğlu said, “It is our greatest wish that the prosperity that trade, regional development and employment will bring to our nation will also reinforce friendships. In the last 20 years, our country has achieved significant success by growing in the field of communication with land, air, rail and sea routes. Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during our governments, we increased the length of our country's divided highways by 4,5 times to 28 kilometers. We overcame the steep rocks and deep valleys of our country with tunnels and viaducts. We took our tunnels from 650 kilometers and increased them 50 times to 13 kilometers. We extended our bridges and viaducts to 651 kilometers. We built our nation's half-century dream High Speed ​​Train lines. We made our country the 729th High Speed ​​Train Operator country in Europe and 6th in the world. We made airlines the 'people's way'. We have increased our airports from 8 to 26. We will increase this number to 57. We fly to 61 destinations in 129 countries of the world. In 337, Istanbul Airport became the second in the world with 2021 million 26 thousand passengers.

We increased the number of our broadband subscribers from 20 thousand to 88 million. The number of our mobile subscribers increased from 28 million to 87 million. In the last 20 years, we have spent over 1 trillion 337 billion 240 million liras for our country's transportation and communication investments.

Pointing out that the projects will not end with counting, Karaismailoğlu continued his speech as follows:

“Let's just remember what we did in the last month. We quickly completed the 1 Çanakkale Bridge, one of the proud projects of Turkish engineering and the longest suspension bridge in the world, in a short period of 1915 years; We put it at the service of our nation. Right after that, we brought Tokat together with the airport. A week after that, we opened the Malatya Ring Road, which serves the transit route of 4 provinces; We moved the transit route out of the city. With the Phaselis Tunnel in Antalya, we shortened the distance between Antalya and Kemer by 16 kilometers. We offered a safe and comfortable journey to our citizens. Tomorrow we are in Kırklareli. We are opening the Pınarhisar and Çakıllı Ring Road. On May 4th, a new indicator of our engineering success; We will open Rize-Artvin airport, which is the world's 14th and our country's 5nd airport built with sea filling. Thus, we have brought our country the 2th airport.”

Karaismailoğlu said, "The surplus values ​​of raw materials and labor, production and trade pass through the ways we always do," said Karaismailoğlu, "As the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, we have left the daily vicious discussions and focused all our interest, knowledge and effort on the development of our country. To date, we have spent nearly 4,5 billion liras for Burdur's transportation and communication investments. In Burdur, we increased the length of the divided highway, which was only 2003 kilometers in 47, to 4,5 kilometers, by increasing it more than 266 times. We connected Burdur to Antalya, Isparta, Afyonkarahisar and Denizli by divided roads. In the city, where there was no hot bituminous asphalt road before, 388 kilometers of roads are of this standard today. During our governments, we put into service 202 bridges with a total length of 24 meters in Burdur. The total project cost of the ongoing 7 highway investments across the province is close to 2 billion liras. Our services are not limited to highways. We brought the developing communication and communication investments in the world and in our country to Burdur as well”.

10,5 MILLION LIRA WILL BE SAVED ANNUALLY

Karaismailoğlu stated that the first step of an important project that provides highway transportation between the districts of Burdur has been taken, and that the Antalya-Burdur junction, Taşkapı-Yeşilbağ-Ağlasun Road, which has a total length of 19 kilometers covered, will be renewed with a hot bituminous coating. Emphasizing that a more comfortable and safe transportation opportunity will be provided to the settlements in the region, especially the Ağlasun District, Taşkapı, Cine and Yeşilbaşköy towns, with the project with a cost of over 69 million, Karaismailoğlu said, “Within the scope of the project; We will manufacture 2 at-grade intersections, 40 culverts, 6 retaining walls and 3 diversion channels. With the new road project, we will take the current route passing through the villages of Cine and Taşkapı out of the settlements. We will offer road users on this line the opportunity to travel more comfortably and in a shorter time. With the opening of the project; We will save 8,5 million liras from time and 2 million liras from fuel, in total 10,5 million liras per year. In addition, the release of 388 tons of emissions to nature will be prevented. We find it very valuable that Burdur, which has an ancient history, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2009 with the Sagalassos Ancient City. The transportation and communication investments we will make here will add vitality to the development of the region's history, culture and tourism. We continue our work day and night by saying 'There is no stopping, keep going' in this service caravan that we embarked on under the leadership of our President.
