Not the High Speed Train, But Its Photo Has Arrived in Burdur

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu promised high-speed train to the citizens during his visit to Burdur the previous day. However, stating that the promise of the high-speed train project, which has been given since 2017, has not been realized, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Administrative Chief and CHP Burdur Deputy Mehmet Göker opened a banner and protested the situation. Göker said, “The children at the time you promised a high-speed train are now university students. Our dreams are a high-speed train, reality is a black train. Do not make promises, take action,''he said.

SözcüAccording to the news of Başak Kaya from Turkey, Göker stated that the promise of high-speed train to Burdur was first given by the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Ahmet Arslan, and said, “Then, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu stated that the Antalya-Burdur-Isparta high-speed train route was determined and the implementation announced that the projects will start” and said:

“The Chairman of the Parliamentary Plan and Budget Committee also made a statement on this issue. Prime Minister of the time, Binali Yıldırım, during his visit to Burdur, announced that the high-speed train from Eskişehir-Kütahya-Afyonkarahisar would land in Antalya between Isparta-Burdur and that the projects were continuing. Now, Minister Karaismailoğlu gave the same promise. The words of the Prime Minister and Ministers have remained in the air for years. Do not promise a fast train, take action. Bring our Burdur together with the high-speed train.”
