The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that an additional capacity increase of 10 thousand 728 people, 34 thousand 800 on the High Speed ​​​​Train lines and 45 thousand 528 on the conventional trains, was made during the Ramadan Feast. The ministry pointed out that the tickets will go on sale from tomorrow.

In the written statement made by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, it was stated that TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ increased its capacity by adding additional flights on the trains to meet the increasing passenger demand due to the Ramadan Feast.

In the statement, which emphasized that additional high-speed train (YHT) services will be organized on the Ankara-Istanbul (Söğütlüçeşme) and Konya-Istanbul (Söğütlüçeşme) lines, the statement said that between 29-30 April and 1-6-7-8 May, additional flights will run daily for 10 thousand 728 people. It has been announced that additional capacity will be provided. In the statement, the YHTs that will run between Ankara and Istanbul (Söğütlüçeşme) will depart from Ankara at 11.50 and from Istanbul (Söğütlüçeşme) at 17.50. YHTs that will run between Konya and Istanbul (Söğütlüçeşme) will depart from Konya at 09.45 and from Istanbul (Söğütlüçeşme) at 15.30.

Underlining that there will be additional flights on Mainline and Regional trains between April 29 and May 8, the statement said, “İzmir Blue Express, 4 September Blue Express, East Express, South/Vangolu Express, Konya Blue Express, Aegean Express, Erciyes Express, Toros Express, Fırat Express, Pamukkale Express, Ankara Express, Island Express and Uzunköprü-Halkalı Regional Train, Kapikule-Halkalı Pulman wagons will be added to the Regional Train. During the holiday, a total of 580 wagons will be added to the Mainline and Regional trains, and a capacity increase of 34 will be achieved.

In the statement, which announced that an additional capacity increase for a total of 45 thousand 528 people was made, it was underlined that the tickets would be put on sale from tomorrow.
