82 percent of the District Public Transportation Transfer Center Project, which the passengers and minibuses living in the districts have been waiting for years, has been completed. The countdown has begun for the arrival and return of the city center with a single vehicle from the districts. Expressing that they plan to put the project into service in June, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, "We are starting the single vehicle era in transportation."

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality continues its investments rapidly in many points of the city. Continuing the infrastructure and superstructure works at every point from the north to the south, from the east to the west of the city, the Metropolitan Municipality also struck a chord with the transportation problem that the citizens have been experiencing for many years. The municipality, which started the round trip period from the districts to the city center and from the city center to the districts with a single vehicle, reached 82 percent physical progress in the 'District Public Transportation Transfer Center', which is under construction.

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said that they plan to complete the District Transportation Transfer Center, which will have 13 download platforms, 3 airport shuttle platforms, 3 ticket offices, an open parking lot for 72 vehicles and a taxi stand for 12 vehicles, in the center. If he wants to come to the city center for a day, he will not have to change more than one vehicle.

President Mustafa Demir said, “According to the calculation we made, we anticipate a decrease in the entrance of private vehicles to the city when the transfer center is opened. With the commissioning of the transfer center for the district minibuses, both the traffic load will decrease and the transportation problem of our citizens to the city center will be eliminated. Currently, 82 percent of the center has been completed. It continues to rise rapidly," he said.
