In the statement made to KAP by Alarko Holding, it was stated that the initiative, of which it is a 50 percent partner, signed the contract today and committed to the design and construction of the 6th Metro Section of the Bucharest Airport Railway Connection.
Alarko Holding has announced that the final signatures have been signed for the Bucharest Airport connection metro, for which it had previously announced that it had won the tender.
In the statement made by the Holding to the Public Disclosure Platform, “Alsim Alarko Sanayi Tesisleri ve Ticaret A.Ş., in which our Subsidiary Alsim Alarko Sanayi Tesisleri ve Ticaret A.Ş. – Makyol Construction Industry Tourism and Trade Inc. The bid submitted by the Joint Venture for the tender "Bucharest International Airport Rail Link 50th Metro Section Lot 6: Design and construction work of construction works between May 1.1st and Otopeni", opened by the Bucharest Metro Authority (Metrorex SA), was announced as the winning bid by the employer. It was previously announced to the public that we were expected to be invited to contract negotiations following the completion of the necessary legal procedures, and that we were invited to sign a contract on 1.
With the contract signed on 08.03.2022, the Joint Venture has undertaken the design and construction work in question to the Bucharest Metro Authority (Metrorex SA).
It was also informed that the total contract value (excluding VAT) regarding the promised work is 1.200.850.000 RON and approximately 242.595.960 Euros.
