Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA's B model, which has a total of 2 HP, 750 x 1500 HP, has successfully completed its first flight test.

HAS 1500 HP POWER

The B model of Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA (Assault Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), developed by Baykar with domestic and national means, within the scope of the AKINCI project carried out under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries, met with the sky. Bayraktar AKINCI, which has a total power of 2 HP, 750 x 1500 HP, will serve as the most powerful and combat-capable combat aircraft in the B class. Bayraktar AKINCI B TİHA remained in the air for 1 hour and 16 minutes during the test activity carried out at Bayraktar AKINCI Flight Training and Test Center in Çorlu. Bayraktar AKINCI B successfully completed the aerodynamic parameter identification tests carried out on its first flight.

BAYRAKTAR AKINCI C ON THE ROAD

Bayraktar AKINCI A TİHA, which has entered the inventory, operates with 2 x 450 HP engines with a total power of 900 HP. The new version of the National TİHA, Bayraktar AKINCI C version, will have a total engine power of 2 HP, 950 X 1900 HP. Bayraktar AKINCI C TİHA is expected to make its first flight in the near future.

6 AKINCI AT THE MISSION

Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA, which entered the inventory with the ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on August 29, 2021, is actively used by the Turkish Armed Forces for operational tasks. So far, 6 Bayraktar AKINCI TİHAs have entered the TAF inventory.

EXPORT AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH TWO COUNTRIES

Export contracts have been signed with 2 countries for Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA. Within the scope of the contracts, Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA and ground systems are expected to be delivered periodically starting from 2023. Realizing its first national UAV export in 2012, Baykar completed the export of 2021 million dollars S/UAV system in 664, generating more than 80% of its revenues from exports. Negotiations continue with many countries that are interested in the National TİHA Bayraktar AKINCI.

ROBOT AIRCRAFT WITH CLOSE TO 100 COMPUTERS

About 100 computer systems work in AKINCI, the robot aircraft developed by Baykar with national and original design, software, avionics and mechanics. Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA, which has a take-off weight of 6 tons, stands out with its useful load carrying capacity of 1.5 tons.

USES NATIONAL AMMUNITIONS

The aircraft platform, which has a wingspan of 20 meters with its unique twisted wing structure, provides high flight safety thanks to its fully automatic flight control and 3-redundant autopilot system. Bayraktar AKINCI, which can perform tasks with the national ammunition it carries thanks to its useful load capacity, will be a great power multiplier with its ability to launch cruise missiles. National ammunition produced by Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA, TÜBİTAK/SAGE and Roketsan are MAM-T, MAM-L, MAM-C, Cirit, L-UMTAS, Bozok, MK-81, MK-82, MK-83, Winged Guidance Kit (KGK). )-MK-82 will be able to use Gökdoğan, Bozdoğan, NEB, SOM missiles.

ADVANCED ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The aircraft, which will carry critical loads such as an EO/IR camera, AESA radar nationally developed by ASELSAN, Beyond Line of Sight (satellite) connection and electronic support systems, will also have advanced artificial intelligence features. It can collect information by recording the data it receives from the sensors and the cameras on the aircraft through the artificial intelligence computers it has. This artificial intelligence system, which can detect the leaning, standing and heading angles of the aircraft without the need for any external sensors or Global Positioning System, provides environmental awareness by using geographical information. The advanced artificial intelligence system has the ability to make decisions by processing the data it obtains. The artificial intelligence system, which can detect land targets that cannot be detected by the human eye, will also enable Bayraktar AKINCI to be used more effectively.

IT WILL LIGHTEN THE LOAD OF COMBAT AIRPLANES

Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA, which will be able to perform tasks with high situational awareness thanks to the nationally developed AESA radar, will also perform some of the tasks performed by the warplanes F-16s with the domestic air-air ammunition it will carry. With Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), it will be able to take images and transfer them to the user even in bad weather conditions where electro-optical systems have difficulty in taking images. The aircraft platform, which will include the weather radar and multi-purpose weather radar, will be the leader in its class with these capabilities.

TURKEY BROKEN THE ALTITUDE RECORD

Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA broke the highest altitude record of a domestic and national aircraft by climbing to an altitude of 8 feet in the flight test it carried out on July 2021, 38.039.

AIR WITH 3000 lbs

On July 10, 2021, AKINCI took off with a total payload of 3000 pounds (Approximately 1360 kg) with a Population Bomb (NEB) attached under the fuselage, and flew for 13 hours and 24 minutes.

DELIVERY WILL CONTINUE

Trainee training and mass production process continues for Bayraktar AKINCI TİHAs, which entered the inventory of our security forces for the first time on 29 August 2021. In this context, new aircraft produced in the future will be delivered to the security forces.
