Metropolitan Municipality organized a trip to Ladik district within the scope of “Discover Samsun, Discover Your City” project. Students participating in the trip for the first time visited Ambarköy Open Air Museum. Later, the students who went to Akdağ Ski Center had fun by sledding here.

Promoting the historical, cultural and touristic potentials of Samsun, the Metropolitan Municipality continues its 'Youth Movement' activities. The third of the tour series, which started with the sea tour with the Ondokuz Mayıs University Planetarium, Tobacco Pier, Honor Monument, Panorama Digital Display Center, Bandırma Ship Museum and Samsunum 1 Ship, continued with Çarşamba town, was made to Ladik district.

40 students participated in the trip organized by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Department in cooperation with IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation Samsun Branch. High school students gathered at the Panorama Digital Display Center and moved to Ladik with the two buses allocated. Visiting Ambarköy, which reflects the natural life as it is with its stream flowing through it, lake, water mill, wooden houses, observation tower, wooden children's playground, wooden and chain bridge and complex, students also visited the 300-year-old Şeyhülislam Mehmet Efendi Wooden Mosque. toured.

The students, who toured the museum, where wax sculptures presenting sections of people's daily lives and 427 ethnographic historical artifacts, tools and goods they used in the past, were exhibited, took many souvenir photos. The young people playing snowballs in the area covered by the snow covered with a white blanket were then taken to the Akdağ Ski Center. After the sausage and bread was served, the students had moments full of adrenaline by taking a stroll in the facility and sledding on the 1360-meter-long track.

AK Party Samsun Deputy Orhan Kırcalı and Ladik Mayor Nurhan Yapıcı Özel, who came together with the students who had a cheerful and enjoyable time, played snowballs with the youth.

AK Party Samsun Deputy Orhan Kırcalı said, “We were together with our young brothers in Akdağ. Being with young people gives us a different energy and motivation. We have TEKNOFEST youth who love Asım's generation, homeland, prayer and flag. In this respect, I consider us very lucky. I would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Demir and our young brothers who came here for the project. As long as these young people are with us, no one should be left behind.”

Ladik Mayor Nurhan Yapıcı Özel said, “We are at the highest point of Samsun. We are at an altitude of 2. The energy of the young people is great. They have added a lot here. Being a ski center contributes a lot to the city. Akdağ Ski Center is a great prestige for Samsun in terms of tourism. With its development, it will contribute more to tourism. Akdağ is beautiful with the energy of the youth.”
