Rize Artvin Airport, which has the distinction of being Turkey's second airport built on the sea, has come to a close. There is a curious wait in the region about when the airport project will be completed. Rize Governor Kemal Ceber said, "Rize-Artvin Airport will be opened from April."

Governor Kemal Ceber said, “We are planning to land our citizens at Rize-Artvin Airport as of April this year. If there is no April, it will be May. If there is no first tea, there will be a second tea. Our goal is to make the opening in April.” He said.

TURKEY'S SECOND AIRPORT ON THE SEA

Rize-Artvin Airport, which was built in Yeşilköy and Pazar coast locations, which is 34 kilometers from the center of Rize, 54 kilometers from Hopa district center and 125 kilometers from Artvin, will be the second sea-fill airport in Turkey and Europe, after Ordu-Giresun Airport.
