German Railway Operator DB Offers Free Travel For Ukrainians

Germany's state-owned rail operator Deutsche Bahn (DB) announced on Sunday that cross-border Deutsche Bahn train services from Poland will be free for Ukrainians fleeing the war in their country.

WB officials said that passengers who want to use the train services must present a Ukrainian passport or identity card.
“This service will facilitate the journey of those who have fled forward across the border,” he said, adding that the measure has already been implemented.

The DB said it is working closely with railway authorities in Poland, the Czech Republic and Austria, through which Ukrainian refugees can pass.
