China Calls on Caution for Ukraine Crisis

Zhang stated at the UN General Assembly on the Ukraine issue yesterday that China's stance on protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries has not changed, and that the principles in the UN charter should be preserved.

China's Permanent Representative to the UN, Zhang Jun, reminded that the Ukraine problem stems from historical factors and the disagreements between the relevant parties these days, and stated that all relevant parties should be cautious so that the tensions in the region do not escalate.

Zhang stated at the UN General Assembly on the Ukraine issue yesterday that China's stance on protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries has not changed, and that the principles in the UN charter should be preserved.

Zhang added that all parties should uphold the principle of "indivisibility of security" and find an appropriate solution through peaceful and diplomatic means, based on equality and mutual respect.
