Izmir Metropolitan Municipality started the "My Borders Confirmation Awareness Training" project for primary school children. Parents and teachers were also trained within the scope of the project aiming to raise awareness against abuse.

In the project, which was carried out in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Dokuz Eylül between November 3, 2021 and February 11, 2022, issues such as children's rights over their bodies, how to protect their bodies, privacy and approval were discussed. Creative drama and art activities were also held in the implementation part of the training given by sociologist Duygu Erişkin, staff of the Metropolitan Municipality Community Health and Education Branch Office. The first application of the project, in which awareness training was given to parents and teachers, ended with the staging of art activities prepared by 328 children. The project will continue with new participants.
