60% of Dalaman Airport in Muğla was sold to Spanish Ferrovial for 140 million euros. YDA Group, which held the concession rights of Dalaman Airport until the end of 2042, sold 60 percent of it to the Spanish Ferrovial Group for 140 million Euros.

YDA Group Chairman of the Board Hüseyin Arslan announced that they will continue to operate Dalaman Airport, which they have been operating since 2014, with a foreign partner. Stating that this partnership between the two groups with global importance in the aviation industry will contribute more to their success, Arslan said, “It is also of great importance as it is an indicator of the continuing trust of foreign investors in the Turkish economy. This strategic alliance represents a unique opportunity to bring together the expertise of both companies in the Turkish aviation industry, and will offer significant growth potential for both Dalaman and other markets.”

Luke Bugeja, CEO of Spanish Ferrovial Group, which also operates London's largest Airport Heathrow, stated that the agreement is a unique opportunity to diversify its airport portfolio in international tourism and the area that has become a rapidly growing destination in Turkey. Bugeja said, “YDA Group has extensive experience in building and operating infrastructure with the PPP model in Turkey and is therefore an ideal partner for us in this project.”
