Trabzon's Fully Automatic Multi-Storey Car Park Project Started

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality is implementing its projects one after another in order to solve the parking problem in the city center. The 'Full Automatic Multi-Storey Car Park', whose construction was completed in the Meydan area, was put into service by the Metropolitan Municipality.

The Fully Automatic Multi-Storey Parking Lot Project for 356 vehicles, located on Yavuz Selim Boulevard in Ortahisar district of Trabzon, was implemented. The fully automatic multi-storey car park, which will contribute greatly to the parking problem of Trabzon, will be operated by Trabzon Transportation Corporation (TULAS). With its fully automatic feature, the 5th parking lot in Turkey, opened in Trabzon, offers many conveniences to the citizens. While the delivered vehicles are kept ready for exit, since the license plate of the vehicle is recorded, even if the ticket is lost, the vehicle can be called by giving the license plate.

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Murat Zorluoğlu stated that the fully automatic multi-storey car park was put into service and said, “We are making great efforts to solve the parking problem in the city center. The fully automatic multi-storey car park, which has been put into service and will largely solve the parking problem in the Meydan area, will be operated by our TULAŞ company affiliated to our Metropolitan Municipality.

As it is known, we are currently using the area where the old teacher's house and Cudibey Secondary School are located as a temporary parking lot. One of our goals is to build a large parking lot under that area. Our new parking lot construction continues at full speed right next to our historical municipality building. With the last arrangement, we are giving entrance and exit from our Çömlekçi Neighborhood. Thus, our citizens who want to come to the Square will be able to reach the Square from here without entering the city traffic. When the parking lot in our İskenderpaşa Neighborhood is completed, we will have solved our parking problem in the city center to a great extent.”
