Under the coordination of the World Ethnosports Confederation and the Turkish Traditional Sports Federation, the Shalwar Wrestling World Championship will be held in the city on Sunday, February 6th. The championship, which will start at 10.00:40 in the Central Sports Complex; 300 athletes from XNUMX different countries will participate, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Jamaica, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Rwanda, Afghanistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Russia, Japan, Germany, TRNC, Brazil, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, and autonomous republics and regions. .

Athletes such as İsmail Balaban, Recep Kara, Fatih Atlı and Osman Aynur, who have achieved many national and international successes, will also take part in the championship.
