An important step has been taken in the field of vocational education, which is one of the issues that the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Eskişehir Chamber of Industry (ESO) focus on the most. With the arrangement made, all high school and university graduates will be able to have a 'Mastery Certificate'.
ESO President Celalettin Kesikbaş, who said that the Ministry of National Education has taken a serious and good step, said, "All high school and university graduates from working life and participating in the '24-Week Mastery Compensation' program will be able to receive a 'Mastership Certificate' regardless of the year they graduated in 97 fields and 27 branches. . Applications will be made to vocational education institutions affiliated to the ministry until February 4," he said.
Stating that during the training, those who attend the training will also have insurance premiums and state contribution payments, Kesikbaş emphasized that all the training content of the program will be made in the enterprises.
Support for businesses
Explaining that the training will start after the conclusion of a contract with an enterprise and that the enterprises will be supported with half the minimum wage, Kesikbaş said, “The duration of the program is the period specified in the framework curriculum of the relevant field or branch and will be applied for a maximum of 27 weeks. Participants in the trainings will be able to participate in the mastery skills examination, which is held in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of National Tendency, in the first examination period to be opened as of the date they complete their training. Those who are successful at the end of the training will be entitled to receive a Mastery Certificate.”
