Gökmen Aerospace Education Center (GUHEM), Europe's largest space and aviation themed education center, prepared two-day camp programs with aviation and space themes for children during the semester break.

GUHEM, Turkey's first interactive space and aviation themed education center, offers an instructive and entertaining holiday program during the semester break, thanks to its arousing and inquiry-based tools. The camp programs that appeal to participants aged 7-14 were prepared by expert science communicators in the form of two different educational content as Aviation Technologies Camp and Space Technologies Camp. GUHEM, which was brought to Bursa in cooperation with Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and TÜBİTAK, is waiting for its students to camp programs on aviation and space themes.

At the Aviation Technologies Camp, which will take place on January 25-26 and February 3-4, the participants will experience the feeling of flying with interactive experience areas and learn professional flight steps while examining the technologies that have developed in the history of flight. They will also have a fun understanding of basic technical information by closely examining the piloting, cabin and landing gear of the aircraft on real airplanes. In addition to the real Airbus A320, RF4, Cessna 172 aircraft in the center, they will be able to reinforce all the knowledge they have learned thanks to the Cessna 172 trainer aircraft simulator.

In the Space Technologies Camp, which will take place on January 27-28 and February 1-2, students will learn about rocket technologies, satellites, astronauts and their lives in space, scientific research carried out and the effects of space studies on our daily lives in the first part. In the second part, participants will be able to find answers to all their questions about space, as well as topics such as the Solar System, exoplanets, meteorites. Thanks to the lunar walking area and multi-axis simulator in the center, they will also have the opportunity to experience what astronauts experience during their missions.
