At the meeting held at the Presidential Complex, issues to add new ones to the domestic and national systems used by the TAF and security units were discussed, and the first stage mass production decision was taken for HURJET, the first flight of which is planned in 2023.
At the meeting, various projects were decided on areas such as various air, land and sea platforms, communication and information systems, ammunition and missiles, equipment and equipment, modernization, logistics, cyber security and artificial intelligence.
In particular, the importance of R&D and P&D in the development of critical and advanced technologies was emphasized at the meeting, and it was emphasized that the development of all kinds of technology purchased from abroad is an absolute necessity for a fully independent defense industry in Turkey and that the sector's efforts in this field will continue to be supported.
