The Ministry of Labor and Social Security made a holiday arrangement for SSK and Bağ-Kur pensions. The following information was conveyed in the statement made by the Ministry:
“A new arrangement was made in the monthly payments within the scope of SSK and Bağ-Kur. According to the amendment made in the Social Security Transactions Regulation, their monthly payments will be paid on time even if it coincides with a public holiday or a weekend.
Monthly payments within the scope of SSK and Bag-Kur were paid on Friday if it coincided with a Saturday, and on Monday if it coincided with a Sunday. Payments that coincided with the official holidays of 23 April and 19 May were also paid the next day or the previous day.
With the amendment made in Article 69 of the Regulation on Social Security Transactions, it has become possible to pay monthly payments on the same day, which coincides with weekends or public holidays, as of January 1, 2022. Thus, the grievances of the insured and beneficiaries regarding the payment day were eliminated.”
